Hubs was home, we got him for a whole day. It was fabulous! There was even two nights with him, I can't even begin to explain how wonderful it was to lay in bed and rest my legs on his legs. In the morning of course the two older girls joined Hubs, Littlest and I in bed. A queen bed only holds five people if we all lay on our sides. Middlest kept saying such funny things. We didn't do anything particularly fun or romantic. Hubs fixed the leaking pipes under the kitchen sink and I helped Middlest make an igloo for her school project. We aren't quite finished yet.
We hung out in the front yard and taught the girls to skateboard a little bit. I think it's funny that they won't ride a bike without training wheels but they'll hop on a skateboard and go.
I made an awesome , but late, dinner of pierogi's,
cabbage and dinosaur kale(grown in our neighbors yard) sauteed in butter
and kielbasa in beer sauce, which I didn't actually like, I dislike the taste of beer. Hubs liked not having to eat out. I have arranged for someone who would cook for him out of town, but he dislikes meeting new people. Today he had to do some in town jobs and meet with the police because last time he was in town he saw a motorcycle accident that turned out to be fatal. Then he came home just in time for us to drive him to the airport. Littlest used to smile, wave and kiss Hubs when we were at the drop off lane at the airport. This time she started to cry inconsolably when he said bye. It was so heartbreaking. I feel her though, I wish he was laying in bed ready to be my leg rest.
